CAS

IN

SCHOOLS

During the week our CAS team takes what we do out of the studio and into local schools.

The CAS in Schools dance program is designed to bring studio style dance lessons to school grounds, to make them accessible for families who can't fit in an external class elsewhere, or to add more dance into the week of students already learning. Students have the bonus of learning with their friends from school, meeting other students from their school community and performing at school events. Plus it provides a stress free way to try out dance, without committing to all the extras that go with a studio. We absolutely love teaching within school communities and seeing the positive impact that dance has on students of all ages.

We run school dance groups for all levels of experience and all ages. With the same nurturing and creative environment we pride ourselves on, our hour-long program focuses on a range of dance styles and prepares pieces to perform at school assemblies, Open Day, community performances and more.

Do you think your school would like to be added to our expanding program? We offer weekday classes after school, school holiday programs and are happy to discuss other times or opportunities.

Please feel free to pass our details onto your Principal, teacher or P+C if you think they may be interested and let us know if they would like more information.

Baulkham Hills North PS dance groups

We're thrilled to partner with Baulkham Hills North Public School where we run four dance groups - a junior and senior group on Tuesday and Thursday.

All groups run after school and are open to all students. Class content covers a range of dance technique, cardiovascular fitness, stretch and strength work, learning of dance routines, preparation for performance, improvisation skills, confidence building and more. During the year there are various performance opportunities at school events.

The best part is the cost for families is less than the cost of regular studio based dance classes – so BHNPS families can access quality dance education for a lesser cost, within their school community and with their peers
